These linen Canvases are Museum Quality, meaning they are durable and built to preserve your artwork for generations. This is becaUse the linen fibers are much longer than cotton Canvas fibers, Allowing them to resist deterioration for at least 5 centuries and as much as 2,000 years, with the proper care. In addition to this, these linen Canvases have a non-mechanical Surface with a lovely Texture that performs excellently with glazing and impasto techniques. Larger Sizes are braced to remain stable providing a rigid support for your Paintings as well. They are hand-stretched onto the back of kiln-dried pine Wood stretcher bars. Back stapled as well, Allowing you to Use a corner key to tighten and Allow for adjustments and re-stretching if needed. 1.5" deep is Perfect For most techniques and the edges may be Painted for frameless Presentation.
